Oxbow Loop Trail

The Oxbow Loop Trail in North Bend, Washington, offers a serene and accessible hiking experience suitable for all ages.This 1.8-mile loop, with just 60 feet of elevation gain, meanders through the lush Middle Fork Snoqualmie River Valley, providing a peaceful escape into nature.
The trail winds through a diverse forest canopy of Douglas-fir, Western hemlock, red cedar, bigleaf maple, Sitka spruce, and alder, with groundcover including salmonberry, Cascade-Oregon grape, and devil’s club. Along the way, hikers can enjoy views of Oxbow Lake and the surrounding mountains. Several wooden benches carved from local logs provide perfect spots for rest or reflection.
A short spur trail leads to the banks of the Snoqualmie River, where visitors can relax by the water. The trail is well-maintained and open year-round, making it a great option for a quick nature retreat. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash.
