Snoqualmie Point Park
Description
Snoqualmie Point Park offers sweeping views of the Cascades and Snoqualmie Pass. Adjacent to the park is the western trailhead to Rattlesnake Mountain.
In the late 1990s there was a plan to develop eight office buildings on the site which had once been a winery and later was zoned for industrial development. A partnership of citizens, elected officials, agencies, The Trust for Public Land and the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust worked to preserve this as a City of Snoqualmie park. Funding arrived in 1999 in the form of the Land and Water Conservation Fund. The land was purchased, the park was established, and this special place will be preserved for generations to come.
